This article is intended as a basic guide to easily and effectively replace single-use and harmful objects to protect as much as we can, our beautiful earth.
1 - Plastic toothbrushes
Obviously, you certainly dont want them to end up in landfills where they cannot decompose.

Shampoos, conditioners, deodorants, creams and cleansers are often packaged in plastic. The solution is simple; you can make several products yourself and in the case of your hair, opt for solid rather than liquid products.
Homemade oil facial recipe
Ingredients
- Argan Oil
- Tamanu oil
- cistus essential oil (do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding)
- A small empty bottle (ideally it must be able to hold 100 ml and have a pipette)
Preparation
1- Put in your bottle 2/3 of argan oil
2- Put 1/3 of tamanu oil
3- 3-4 drops of essential oil of cistus
Stir all and apply the mixture to clean, moist skin !
6 - Household products
The simplest option is again, to use simple ingredients such as; vinegar, baking soda and essential oils to clean your home without the risk of breathing chemical ingredients. Several recipes are available on the internet but here is a simple recipe:
Deep cleaner for bathtub
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup of baking soda
- 2-3 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide
- 2-3 tablespoons liquid Castile soap
Preparation
Mix all these ingredients in a small bowl. The mixture should become a thick paste that said, this mixture does not keep well, the ideal is to use it quickly.
